Fall, 2008

This semester I am teaching ECI 430 Methods and Materials for Middle Grades English Language Arts and a new pilot course, ECI 496 M, which is geared towards orienting MSL Seniors to new literacies and emerging technologies as well as supporting the development of their program electronic portfolios. I will also be continuing a research focus on teaching language effectively and the potential that a new literacies approach to teaching language has for improving language instruction as a part of a collaborative professional development initiative called the NC Quest Voices of NC Project.
