Library E-Reserves

The library is at it again and has some great tutorials for generating e-reserves for your classes this FAll.

This summer a graduate assistant has been working on a set of short video tutorials that demonstrate the self-service features of the Reserves system. As you may know, in our new system instructors have a lot more options to do things with reserves on their own. Here's a list of the videos we have so far. We'll also be making videos to show how to create a dynamic link b… Continue

Hi! I was at your workshop at Craven Early College yesterday. It was very informative - thank you so much for coming! You are very talented :) Does your class skype? If so, we're looking for skype contacts for my class. I teach 8th grade math & science.

Bethany...I'm just curious. I sent a message to a Ning group that I'm a member of this morning, and I don't see it showing up anywhere. How do I know that people in the group received the message?

Glad to have you as my friend!!! And thanks for your response and advice today. It was helpful. Everyone tonight seemed pleased to have the vista connection up and running; we plan to discuss more as the semester moves along re: if we want a NING group presence. You're the best!

Hi Bethany,

I am a student in ECI 509T this fall. Thank you for creating the 21st Century Skills Group. This is the first time I am using Ning, this is also the first time I am using and learning Moodle.

I am interested in learning how technologies can be used to enhance distance education.

I look forward to learning from Professor Lori Holcomb this semester!

Thank you again,
Laura
